How is your Faith Meter? and Walking in Obedience

Recently, Dámaris spoke upstate NY at a ladies retreat. Her two messages on Saturday were on faith and our obedience to Christ.
We know that without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6) So, what does that faith look like? How do we get faith? Where does it come from? In her own, inimitable way, Dámaris explains and teaches about this fundamental truth from the Word of God.
Obedience. The first thought you may have is Obedience School for dogs. Or, you may think of the joy-killer of doing something that you did not want to do when you were a child. Well, think of the other side of the obedience question? Think of how God looks at His often-disobedient children. If you are a parent, especially of little ones, can there be anything more precious than your child gratefully coming when you call him or her to your side? "Yes, Mommy," is one of the sweetest things that a young mother can hear. How sweet must it be to our Lord when His children obey?
