Dámaris's ministry opportunities at the Brooklyn Tabernacle began when she was a teenager when Pastor Cymbala invited her mother to speak. Since then, she has been privileged to minister there in music countless times, and has had the opportunity to speak there as well. Recently, she spoke on "The Big Question," which is what Jesus asked Peter three times after He rose from the dead: "Do you love Me?". Using Deut. 6:5 and John 14:15, Rev 2:2-5, as well as her personal testimony, she encourages us that doing is not the same as loving, and that Jesus is asking us to love Him wholeheartedly.

I was saved through the ministry of Damaris' mother and father on 6/16/1973 at a little church on 106 th. Street in Manhattan. I cherish that memory and it will be with me forever. Thank u for sharing your heart. I am so very very encouraged to have hope for my teen granddaughters. They both are not "pressing" into Jesus in the real loving way as they should as well as some other family members and I myself want to spend more time in the bible ! But now faith has risen in me and words to speak to them as the Holy Spirit leads. You have touched me very profoundly with this anointed rich word. To God be the glory!

Oh Damaris, I so enjoy the transformation that the Lord has done in your life. You are such a powerful women of the word and that is because, since 1992, you have allowed the discipline of reading of the word to overflow in your very being and boy, it is evident because of the anointing that rest upon you. You sound so much like your mom and even though, she was a powerful women of the word and can no longer preach, you my dear, are keeping her very much alive in our hearts to those of us who had the honor of listening to her when she was at our church back in the 80’s. YES. READ THE WORD, especially in the days that we are living. Know it and hide it in your heart! Comments are closed.
