New Devotional: Micah, Mountains and Mercy

7/25/2020

Ever thought that the mountains and hills might be listening?  The Old Testament prophet Micah caught Dámaris's attention describing how God calls the mountains to be a witness as He asks questions of His people.  Listen as she describes God's desires for us.

Damaris, I love your voice and your devotion to our Lord and Savior.

I'm curious,

Do you have a daughter that sings too? I think I saw one of your videos and the camera panned your back-up group and one young lady looked like you.

Am I right.

Thanks and God Bless You.

Hi Eddie: We do have a daughter that sings. However, most people think that they look nothing alike. There is a pic of the two of them on Dámaris's "New Message: Bad Enough" blog post from 1/30/2019. Ashley has on a denim jacket. Here's a link: https://www.damariscarbaugh.com/home/previous/2

You are looking so much like your momma. Your mannerisms remind me of her. I loved pastor Amy so much. Damaris your sing voice still stirs my spirit as it did in the little street corner church on Castle Hill Ave and in the big church Brooklyn Tabernacle. To me you still have it and your songs move me to tears of joy tears of healing tears of restoration. Much love Jodi Bailey

Thanks so much for teaching!
Love your music as well. :)

Another concrete example of how people are tired of doing right. The pandemic the world is now going through has caused many to change the habits, especially with regard to masks and distance. Mankind has an inherent problem in bowing to authority, especially Americans ( maybe it’s part of our revolutionary attitude that freed us from King George). Yet, as Christians, we can lead the way in showing love by putting our comfort in second place and leading by obedience to the recommendations of our healthcare professionals. God bles you!
