Dámaris shared God’s Word and musical gifts at the Milford Park Bible Conference. Her message centered on the incomparable majesty of Jesus Christ, as revealed in the book of Hebrews. She explored the surpassing greatness of our Savior, emphasizing the vital role of faith in our relationship with God. Drawing inspiration from Hebrews 11, Dámaris illuminated the life-transforming power of believing, trusting and obeying Jesus Christ. The message concluded with an invitation to receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We are invited to "come boldly" to the throne of grace, where we will find grace and mercy. Hebrews 4:16. Don't we all need grace and mercy? Dámaris speaks about why we sometimes ignore this beautiful invitation to "run into" this strong tower and be safe in Sunday's service at her home church. Her message starts in the video below at 49:20. Dámaris is teaching a new Bible study on Hebrews! It will be live streamed on Manhattan Grace Tabernacle's YouTube channel at 6:30 EST tonight (Tues, 11/21/23) and next Tuesday, 11/28/23 at the same time. Tune in and drop a comment so we know where you are listening from!
If you miss it live, it will be available on YouTube to watch anytime. Click here to watch. Dámaris has been an invited guest of Westgate Chapel in Edmonds, WA for many years. Invited to speak three times at their Awaken conference, Dámaris shares her love of reading the Bible and reflects on how the book of Ruth has convicted her. The Bible's account of this Moabite woman illustrates so many qualities that we need to emulate. The first two of these three sessions describes the life of this Gentile woman, who ends up being in the lineage of Jesus Christ. In the third session, Dámaris explores the mystery of doing everything without complaining or arguing (Phil 2:14). The key verse to understanding this concept is in Romans 12.
Scarsdale Community Baptist Church held a women's conference recently and invited Dámaris to speak. Dámaris shares the importance of reading the Bible because in it we will learn how Jesus teaches us the way to have eternal life (John 17:3). Sometimes, we just complicate things. The Bible says, "But godliness with contentment is great gain." 1 Timothy 6:6. In Sunday's service at her home church, Dámaris discusses how to be content and joyful, even when God corrects us. Her messages starts in the video linked below at 1:15:45. As children of light we should live lives that shine in this very dark world—but this is challenging to say the least! We can all probably say that we feel like it’s becoming nearly impossible to not complain or argue! However, God’s Word, which is still able to teach us, will show us that being content IS attainable (1 Timothy 6:6) and Romans 12:12 gives us a small, yet powerful, “formula” for the challenge.
In this Zoom Get-Together for The Christian Working Woman, Dámaris Carbaugh leads us through this formula, which includes three key areas. Click on the graphic above to watch! Does your thinking condemn you? Or maybe confuse you? Do you see humility as something impossible to obtain? Are you seeing obedience as a joy? Or is it still difficult? Are there things you’ve suffered that make you long for vindication? This is a four part series from Philippians 2 with Dámaris Carbaugh speaking at the Women Digging Deeper weekend at Sandy Cove Ministries in Maryland.
When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. Proverbs 31:26 In four video Bible studies, Dámaris teaches about women in the Bible that exhibit both wisdom and kindness. Giving biblical and practical examples, she explains how we can be kind as well as wise with our kids, our spouses and even our co-workers. Tonight was the first of four Thursdays in a row where we are taking a biblical look at the wisdom and kindness of women in the Bible. If you missed it, here’s the first video. Join us for the next three Thursdays as we seek to do what Proverbs 31:26 says. |
