Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ! Happy New Year! We hope that this year brings you closer to Jesus Christ. We have just created a YouTube Channel that has videos of Dámaris's messages. We will be adding to it as we get new ones. Click Here to watch! |
All Christians know that God is enough. It is easy to understand that an all-powerful God does not lack for anything, and does not need any help to take care of us and the rest of the world. In theory. In practice, however, we are prone to doubt and fear, just like the disciples in the storm-ravaged boat. Listen to Dámaris message and be encouraged.
Speaking at Manhattan Grace Tabernacle, Dámaris develops the importance of the Word of God from an unusual viewpoint: the fear of the Lord. Obvious connotations of fear do not always apply to the fear of the Lord. We love God and know He loves us, so what part does fear actually play in our worship and daily choices. Listen and may the Lord speak to your heart directly through this message. Click on the link below to listen, or go to our Messages page.
In the You Are 2019 Conference last weekend in College Station, Texas, Dámaris discussed two attitudes that people tend to have. One makes a person think, "Hey, I'm not as bad as THAT person." The other makes a person think, "What I have done is so bad that I don't deserve forgiveness." Both are correct, thinking secularly, but both are very wrong thinking spiritually. Using Luke 1:78-79, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53 (NLT), Dámaris explains that Christ's suffering, death on the cross and resurrection was God's punishment for everything that has been done wrong, and that it was enough to purchase forgiveness for anyone who asks.
Listen to her message here: The Word of God is able to teach, rebuke, correct and train, according to 2nd Timothy 3:16. At a women's conference in Milford, CT, Dámaris taught on this verse and several others to illustrate the importance of surrendering ourselves to God's instruction and the joy that it brings. Listen here:
At a women’s conference in Miami, Dámaris spoke about the unique life of Abraham. What was it about his life that would single him out as the only one in the Old Testament that God called His “friend”? The Bible actually highlights only brief moments of his 175 years on this earth, but yet he is considered the Father of our Faith. He had few earthly accomplishments that we know of, and yet his faith is what is accredited to him as righteousness (Romans 4:22).
Does your faith need some encouragement? Listen in and we pray that the Lord will help you trust Him more and more. En una congreso de mujeres en Monterrey, México, Dámaris enseña sobre Psalmo 23. Aunque es una escritura bien conocida, ella lo explica en una manera que es refrescante y nuevo, y demuestra que lindo es nuestro Señor.
Next weekend, Damaris has the opportunity to teach in a wonderful women's conference in El Cajon, California. Shadow Mountain Community church en Español is hosting a two day event on June 22 and 23, 2018. If you understand Spanish, invite a friend and come to the event! Damaris Carbaugh estará enseñando en un gran congreso de mujeres en Shadow Mountain en Español on June 22-23, 2018. ¡Invita a una amiga y ven a El Cajón, CA! Para mas información https://bit.ly/2t0VLts Dámaris's ministry opportunities at the Brooklyn Tabernacle began when she was a teenager when Pastor Cymbala invited her mother to speak. Since then, she has been privileged to minister there in music countless times, and has had the opportunity to speak there as well. Recently, she spoke on "The Big Question," which is what Jesus asked Peter three times after He rose from the dead: "Do you love Me?". Using Deut. 6:5 and John 14:15, Rev 2:2-5, as well as her personal testimony, she encourages us that doing is not the same as loving, and that Jesus is asking us to love Him wholeheartedly.
