Thank you for considering Dámaris's ministry.  Our schedule is nearly completely full for the spring and fall of 2008, although we have a lot of dates open in the summer.  We are currently accepting invitations for 2008 and 2009, should the Lord tarry. We must receive a completed questionnaire with your invitation, which is easy to fill in.  Please look over our itinerary. Bear in mind that there may be commitments we have which are not included in our published itinerary.

Damaris and I feel strongly that we should be in our own local church on Sundays as much as possible. We need to be fed and to stay accountable to our local leaders. Generally, our concerts are on Friday or Saturday nights.

Another conviction we have is that we shouldn't charge a set price for what we do. Ours is a ministry, not a business, but we do want to be upright as we serve the Lord. We ask that those who invite us agree to cover our mileage or flight expenses (including airfare, the new luggage charges and airport parking) as well as lodging expenses and meals. If you would make the hotel reservations, we'd appreciate it. We'll make our own travel arrangements.

At most church concerts, a "love offering" is collected for Damaris. Conferences and other types of appearances generally have a set honorarium which we do not negotiate, but leave that between the leadership and the Lord. Should it be determined that Damaris's honorarium would be by way of a "love offering," the following guidelines should apply. Since "the worker deserves his wages" (Luke 10:7), we suggest you prepare your people to give a "love offering" during the concert, but please don't deduct any expenses from that offering. Just let it be the expression of their love and appreciation to the Lord and to Damaris for her ministry. We're serving by faith and trusting the Lord to meet the needs of our family. We will bring Damaris's CDs and DVDs so the people can "take her home" after the concert and share the blessing with others.

We prefer that you not sell tickets, but if the concert arrangements make this necessary -- rent for an auditorium, sound equipment, etc. -- then please keep the price moderate so that nobody will be hindered from hearing the Gospel or get the impression that income is the reason we're coming.

We are prayerfully considering the invitations as they come and will contact you about either your specific dates or with other possible dates. When we come to places, we want to "come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ" (Rom. 15:29). Pray that we will!
